What the system is doing

These are the usual tells.

Warm air
The fan is moving air that never gets cold. Refrigerant, compressor, or a coil that cannot do the job.
Weak airflow
A filter, a blower, or a duct problem. Often the cheapest fix if you catch it before the compressor dies of overwork.
Ice on the lines or the unit
Do not keep running it. Ice is a symptom, not a setting.
Short-cycling
